Hi Todd - I am one of your experienced golfers. I took up golf after retirement and have been playing for about 10 years. I was just wondering if you could do a video or comment about the differences between pitch and chip shots. Is it just about the distance or what? Thanks in advance. I am doing much better since I started putting more weight on the front foot, but there is no way that I can touch my knees together. They just won't bend that far. I have tried to get them closer together, but about six inches is the closest that I can come.

Can you use this for a 3 wood and even hybrids? For me I can only hit a 3 wood pure if I lift the shaft angle like so.

Germantown, MD. (DC suburb) Your tips have really help me strike the ball better. Yesterday I practice your tip on hitting the driver better by lifting my left arm and leaning right (right handed player) and I hit the ball much better and further than I have since I got back into the game after a 15 year layoff. I’ll definitely incorporate this drill into my practice, since all your tips have helped. If I lived in your area I would definitely take your clinics.

All good, but what if you can’t lift your arms up that far? The further up, the sooner the arms will start to bend and the more inconsistent the swing will be.

If you were standing on scales one for each foot might it show the weight transfer, I remember commentators pointing out a reverse weight shift of even pro level players.

Sorry pal, we have actually learned nothing. You have just shown 3 different movements.

Experimenting with shaft angle is a great idea. Also, though, I found I need to do just as much experimenting with my set up with distance to the ball. i.e. play with these 1. my set up distance to ball with driver head just behind the ball on the ground, 2. distance while hovering the clubhead just behind the club head and 3. distance with the driver head some 8-10 inches behind the ball. Playing around with these variables and the angle that you elaborate on to find your particular groove = bingo, could change your golf 100% very fast. p.s. Weight always bit left (forward) at set up works for me for all clubs incl. driver.

Yes, the third time I used the club it broke. No, I did not use it as a weapon or break it out of frustration. The club was used as intended. The club felt flimsy and cheap from the start. I didn't think much of it until the shaft broke at the club head. Unfortunately, VLS refused to stand by their product. I will never purchase from VLS again. TERRIBLE QUALITY AND BUSINESS PRACTICE. Pretty shitty video …. Driver add in the middle of the screen through the whole video…. Concentrate on golf instead of pushing your product

Majority of it for me was weight on the toes. Keep it more back or try lifting your toes during the whole swing. It works.
